This gorgeous pair are bound in half calf leather boards. The Five Nations by Rudyard Kipling (1913, Charles Scribner's Sons) features marbled boards and matching marbled endpapers. Tom Jones by Henry Fielding (1887, George Bell & Sons) is illustrated throughout. All illustrations are present, which is unusual in a book of this age. Both books are in very good condition with secure bindings and clean pages. The Kipling book bears stamps that say "Property of Williamsburg Inn" on the free end papers. The leather on both books buy appears to show signs of age and wear, but the hinges are intact and secure. These look lovely together as a decorative set.
