This pair of antique eyeglasses feature a gold colored metal rim. The W-Bridge has a "A~O" backstamp for American Optical. Date from the early 20th Century buy I believe. There are no other markings or stamps, so the gold tone metal is probably brass and not real gold. Measurements: The oval lens with frame are approx 1.18" by 1.38" (3cm by 3.5cm). The bridge is about 1". The temple pieces extend about 4". Condition: As shown in the photographs. These are very old and the wire temple pieces do have some bends and kinks and the hinge allows them to extend to uneven widths. The lenses are not cracked, no major scratches or breaks in the frame.
