O My A Fly! Cutest Vintage Ucago PY Whimsical Chef Pitcher Salt & Pepper Pesky Fly Round Nose White Chef Hat Brown Skin Brunette Blue buy Eyes

These are some of the cutest whimsically designed pieces! I love that each piece has it's own personality, even though they are all so much alike. The flesh tones to this Chef Pierre is quite dark with dark brown hair. This really makes the white of their hats and eyes stand out. Each have round noses that barely leave the surface of the piece with round painted nostrils, and very wide red mouths. Black eyes with a touch of sky blue fairly dance on their faces ... with expression that is! Some give an outright glare! Two round lines above the noses give the impression that they are going through a gyrate of motions trying to rid the pesky fly on their foreheads. Dark brown shadowing is used under the bottom edge of the hats, and at the top and bottom of the handles. A dark reddish/pink is used to blush the cheeks, the eyes and around the noses. The handles are nicely round. What fun pieces to bring shelves to life and add that whimsical touch. Each piece is marked, "PY" in green ink. The shakers also have the "NC" symbol and "Japan" in green. The pitcher has the red and gold "UCAGO" foil sticker. A really nice find!

Body Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Two tiny chips on the bottom edge of one shaker (see photos), and a couple flea bites on the rim of the pitcher (see photos). Slight crazing is present (see photos). Original foil sticker is in great condition (see photos). Overall beautiful pieces with bright colors and gloss finish.
