This palmetto, "little palm" became a symbol of liberty in South Carolina during the Revolutionary War, because of the triumph of Fort Moultrie. Its success was largely accredited to the ability of the palmetto to absorb and negotiate British cannonballs. The crescent is from the state troops who were clothed in blue, and wore a silver crescent on their caps. Stitch this wallet canvas and stitch a little piece of history. Please be sure to include your monogram for the backside of the wallet. The two images shown are front and back design.
