Antique pre-owned miniature black lacquer shoe shaped snuff box. Black lacquer over papier-mâché with mother of pearl and silver metal inlay stitching and trim detail. Metal hinge. No visible maker mark.

Approximate size: 1 1/2" height x 4" length

Good vintage condition - USED. Extensive wear include missing lacquer on underside of lid, shoe interior and heel. Dings, nicks, hair-line cracks and scratches to shoe as best represented in photos. Metal hinge rusty. Wear and patina consistent with age buy and use. Overall in good condition given age. Dusty. Need gently cleaning. Priced accordingly.
