Burgundy, Lilac and White Rag Quilt
Flannel with Bamboo lining and soft, ribbed Microfibre backing.
The front is a patchwork of burgundy and white along with a beautiful lilac plaid print.
I made this quilt with 12" squares and a buy 1/2" seam and bordered with a 1" strip the same fabric as the backing. It's finished dimensions are approximately 38" x 38". Each square is made up of 3 layers. The top layer is flannel and the lining is bamboo making it nice and warm. The backing is made with a soft ribbed microfibre fabric. I finished the edge on this one with a basic turned seam and no binding.
Machine washable on the delicate cycle, cold water and tumble dry on low heat or air dry. It will get softer and more frayed the more it is washed, adding to its charm.
