Blue Series #2 buy

buy Paintings included here are from the "Blue Series", started in August 2021. The paint is poured, brushed, removed, diluted and added to in incremental layers. For me it is a return to a mode of working that I engaged when studying with Kaji Aso at the Boston Museum School in the 1970s. His weekly crits, held in a relaxed tea ceremony style, were about space, form, translucence and nuance.
