This is a large spring breeze teacup made by Kitaya Yamamoto, a Kyoto-style Kiyomizu-yaki pottery kiln.

The photo shows several of them, but the price is for one single item.

Cherry blossoms are painted on a fabric with a soft texture like Hagi ware with pebbles mixed in.
It is a wonderful spring vessel with soft colors.

By painting with both a brush and an itchin, a spring scene with depth is created.

The colors are different, and each bowl expresses a fantasy of the fields and mountains of spring.
All are thin and light when held in the hand. The warmth of the handmade is used to create finger marks, and the shape is spread out like a trumpet.

The color of each piece varies depending on the chemistry of the clay and the flame of the kiln. It is nice to see that even the inside is painted.

The size and the color of the flowers are changed so that it can be used by a couple.
The cherry blossoms laid out in a zigzag pattern of different colors are beautiful.
