This gorgeous blue head hen on nest was produced in the 1950's at the very latest and possibly as early as the early 1900's. It was made by either Westmoreland or Kemple glass. Features: Split-tail, diamond and basket weave pattern on sides and base, cross on the base of the dish. Either way, this hen on nest is beautiful and in amazing condition! The head is in mint condition - no chips at all. The only rough area is the top of the tail, which is very slightly chipped. There are several yellow spots on the inside of the dish. Please see all of the pictures for a further description. Measurements: 5-1/2" long, 4-1/4" wide, 4-1/2" tall My items are packaged extremely well - I use lots of bubble wrap and air pillows! This is a preowned item buy so there is no original box, but I will package it so it will be very safe during shipment. The shipping will include insurance and a delivery confirmation.
