Updated 05/24 with a picture of the Certificate of Authenticity, included. I purchased this lamp new from The Bradford Exchange around 2018-2019. It has been displayed since then, and works fine It was never moved from it's original spot. There is no damage (nicks, breaks, tears, etc), that I can tell or am aware of. Plus, the mast has real-rope rigging and a sculptural Jolly Roger flag at the top that seemingly flies in the wind.
