Melamine smokeless ashtray by HJ Stotter, New York, in deep blue.
Flying saucer shape, rotating lid. Has an excellent design. Can be jam packed with potpourri, and you can control the degree of released scent by spinning the lid.
Blue color is an identical match for the dark blue melamine used by Heller in the iconic Hellerware dishware designed by Massimo Vignelli - see last photo.
Excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, no breaks, no burns, no melts... no kidding.
