A Murano green glass with gold necklace and earrings set from the 1950s. This attractive Italian 50s art glass jewelry set consists of the 17-1/2" necklace and the matching clip-on earrings. The earrings are glass discs mounted on brass clip-on fittings and the 7/8" moss green discs have fancy open work brass caps; they are linked by 1/4" round green glass beads and cobalt glass spacers with gold painted highlights. The necklace has a brass barrel clasp and the green glass has glittery gold coloured glitter inclusions. The green glass, like the gold, are swirled within the clear colourless glass. This set is marked MADE ITALY on the earrings. This stylish 1950s retro set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs.
Items have signs of use as expected.
Jewelry is tested to verify content and gems are confirmed on a gem tester. Jewellery items are hand cleaned, not machine buffed.
