Up for sale is this vintage brooch, cameo of a portrait of the great Roman Goddess Diana, goddess of the countryside, hunters, and the moon, also for fertility and childbirth. With a crescent moon on her head, she is well carved, it has a high relief portrait of Diana. It is set in an oval frame; it is unmarked, and gold filled. It has a simple “C” clasp. buy It is in good condition, there is a loop in the frame for hanging as a pendant. It measures 1 ¼ x 1 ¾ inches. Circa 1920 - 40
