Rutabaga Catta is part of a series of "Garden Patch Cat" quilts that were created by Helene Knott. They were designed for the original StoryQuilts.com, owned by Betty and Vernon Swearingen to be made into patterns to be sold on the website. This is an original quilt that Helene did as a prototype with great attention to detail, buy and is one-of-a-kind. The quilt is an 18" square - the perfect size for a wall hanging. It has shades of purple and green squares as a border to a cat with a purple and yellow rutabaga-shaped body. The background is a golden yellow with intricate quilting.
