Oooh lets buy start with a couple of disclaimers!
1. I'm not certain this was made by Sam Fink. It's really similar style wise to ones people are saying are SF but a different shape. There is next to no info out there that is concrete about SF so your guess is as good as mine.
2. I learned something new while researching this - Ormolu! Now, reading up on Ormolu, it seems that realistically this probably isn't it, because I don't think any real gold was used but other (more modern?) definitions seem to have it just being a gold look. I've included the term in this listing because it seems like folks might search that when looking for something like this - but I wasn't in the factory that made it, so I'm not making ya any promises as to what it's made from other than “metal” ;)

Now that we have all that out of the way, let's talk about the item at hand!
The cover itself measures approx 10-5/16 x 5-1/8” x 3-1/8”, although the tissue box could only be a max of 2-1/8” if it's going to sit on the little ledges on the underside (and the max dimensions of the tissue box would need to be slightly under as well to account for the thickness of the metal).

There is patina in spots on this piece, I wasn't sure what best to polish with or if folks would want it polished so I have left it as I found it. It features beautiful Aurora borealis rhinestones and some sort of turquoise blue stone. Please zoom in on all photos as this is a little outside of my usual realm and I don't want to describe incorrectly - but it appears to me to be a nice piece in overall good condition, with patina.

*This item has been posted using calculated shipping, meaning shipping has been calculated based on the size and weight of the box - see my interpretations/recommendations below (and policies for more details)

USA - I honestly just recommend choosing “Small Packet” (the cheapest) if it's an option; this will go by air and does NOT include tracking. I know you are used to getting things shipped with tracking but with Canada Post you're really just paying a $5+ more to be able to (hopefully) get updates as to where it is. It doesn't get there any faster. Both “Small Packet” and “Tracked Packet” can take up to 3 weeks (but is *usually* 10 days or less). If you don't see these options (likely because your box is large or heavy or both!) then “Expedited Parcel” will be your best/cheapest option and will INCLUDE tracking. “Xpresspost” and “Priority” also INCLUDE tracking.

Everywhere Else: Many of the things I sell will have “Small Packet - International Surface” as an option; it can take up to 12 weeks depending on your location. “Small Packet - International Air” is usually 2-3 weeks. The two options do NOT include tracking. “Tracked Packet”, “Expresspost” and “Priority” all do INCLUDE tracking.

Canada - You already know the trials and tribulations (and extortionate expense for smaller or lighter packages) of Canada Post. Sorry. All parcel options INCLUDE tracking at least!

**I pack very well, to ensure safe shipping.
