White handwoven Kota Doria (Cotton) dupatta with fine Chikankari hand embroidery done by rural women artisans of North India. The motif used for embroidery is almost 250 years old hand carved block. This is a very rare creation in Chikankari craft.
Kota fabric is a gossamer handwoven fabric made by weaving clusters in Rajasthan, West India. This dying craft is one of the most stunning creations of artisans where the fabric is in a check like woven pattern & yet very strong.
The fabric feels extremely soft on wear.

The Sustainability Quotient (TSQ):

1. Rare Hand Embroidery: We have focussed on finding rare & very old motifs belonging to actual Regency Era that were used in Chikankari back then. This is one of those miniature old motifs that otherwise is never visible in Chikankari. When wearing this motif you are wearing buy a piece of History. 2. Handloom Kota Doria: A rarity in itself now. We came upon this batch with great difficulty as most of the Kota available now in market is not handwoven.

Moodboard: For this collection we have taken inspiration from Regency Era English Classic Literature & have chosen motifs, colour palette & styling that is reminiscent of that age.
