Nebraska Goldenrod in Kool-Aid #127 - Original watercolour painting by Lee McGuire.
This is the original hand painted watercolour, not a print!
I brought my Flowers in Bottles Watercolour series to the American states!
I paired the U.S. state flowers with a beverage either originating from, or very popular in that state.
The goldenrod, which blooms from July to October, was named the state flower of Nebraska in 1895.
Kool-Aid is Nebraska's buy official state soft drink (one of only two states to have one) and was invented there in 1927.
Painted on A4 300gsm textured watercolour paper
