Shiseido Eau de Parfum 2012 won the Gold Award of the Japan Package Design Association in 2013. The fragrance was released as a complimentary gift for Shiseido stockholders and was the last of the "Mizu no Ka" ("Scent of the Water") trilogy, with water and its buy blessings to nature being the leitmotif.
