GORGEOUS I love this cloth, one of the best! ~*~ I made a Halloween table cloth out of one of these many years ago and I've treasured it since buy ~*~ This lovely textile is a European mangle cloth! This cloth was used to hold the clothes while putting through the mangle ( wringer ) to dry before hanging! This cloth dates c 1920-1930's and is made of linen and some cotton. The ground tone has that lovely flax ecru tone. The orange stripes run the length on each side!! ~ This textile has acquired a sheen and when these cloths are laundered , they have more of a washed linen look! This cloth is wonderfully versatile. I've used them as curtains, table cloths, and also for MANY sewing projects. They were actually one of the first vintage linen textiles that I started to sew with all of those years ago!! ~*~ Medium weight ~ lovely condition too! ~ ~~ I've had a stack of these in my stock for about 20 years and just waiting to get some time to put them online! MEASUREMENTS: This lovely fabric measures roughly 110 inches by 34 inches long.

CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. This textile is in lovely condition indeed and needs a good wash! This textile has been stored for over 25 years and has a musty smell but also when they are used in the mangle, they acquire an oily smell, all washes out! ~ ~ it can be machine washed on warm with normal detergent and hung to dry ~*~
