Both vinyl and Cover are in good condition. Cover has a dog eared corner and record has some scratches. Plays excellent! The plastic shrink wrap is coming off cover.

Unlike most bootleg albums, the first of two Instant Party collections of buy recordings by the Who does not consist of previously unreleased material. Every track on the disc was released originally on a 45. It's just that much of this material is rare. There were many variations in the singles the Who released in the U.S. and U.K. in 1965-1968, the period covered here. For example, their second single, "Anyway Anyhow Anywhere," issued in Britain on Brunswick Records on May 21, 1965, had "Daddy Rolling Stone" as its non-LP B-side; released the same month on Decca in America, the single had "Anytime You Want Me" on its flip side. Both tracks are heard here. All of the Who's U.K. A- and B-side singles through 1967 are included, which is to say, up to "I Can See for Miles," and there are U.S. B-sides into 1968, the last being the American mix of what is called "Dr. Jeckyl [sic] & Mr. Hyde" (actually "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde"), released in March 1968 on the back of "Call Me Lightning." Not every Who 45 side is included; one notable omission is "Whiskey Man," the John Entwistle-composed B-side of the American release of "Happy Jack." But, in contrast to the many legitimate Who compilations, even their rarities compilations, this album does a good job of documenting, in nearly chronological order, the band's early history on singles. The tracks are no doubt mastered from the singles, and the sound is good.
