Item Description: Civil War Era Ambrotype With Patriotic Mat. Nice Case. Serious Man in suit. This item is in very buy good condition considering it being approx. 161 years old. The gold colored mat has a fag and shield design in each corner. There is a few dark colored spots on the mat. The maroon velvet inside front cover is in good condition. Outside of case had some edge wear and corner dings. Typical for something this old. Little locking levers work great. There is some wear on the case from these being opened and closed.
