Vintage 1847 Rogers Brothers buy Remembrance Oval Serving Platter or Double Vegetable Bowl Silverplate 14" L Circa 1940's

This very pretty 1847 Rogers Brothers Remembrance oval buy serving platter is circa 1948. It was primarily used to serve bread, cakes or pastries. The beautiful beaded rim and floral motif pattern will add class to any tabletop. The platter measures 14" long x 8" wide and is heavy, weighing 30 ounces or just under 2 pounds. The condition is very good considering its age and use. There are a few minor scratches and some very small dings on the outer edge/rim. This pretty platter makes a great addition to any collection of vintage platters or serving dishes and a wonderful hostess gift. Sold as is. All visible flaws disclosed.
