Vintage Art Deco White Gold Black Onyx and buy Diamond Motif Re-imagined in Silver& Diamond Pendant Mount

Original 100 year old White Gold Black Onyx and Diamond Motif carefully re-imagined in a modern frame. An amazing opportunity to own a piece of Birmingham Jewellery Quarter History.
Let me paint the picture of its origin. The central motif is from the Art Deco period 1920's & 1930's, the black onyx motif encapsulates all that made the area uniquely famous. Streets occupying around a square mile full of some the country's finest craftsmen specialising in different elements of the jewellery trade and all working together to produce jewellery sold worldwide.
The black onyx would have been carved by hand at the gem cutters while in a workshop merely streets away, The white gold cental mount would be painstakingly hand pierced and set with a diamond before both been delivered to another workshop were it would be mounted together into a ring typical of the period then sold at fine jewellers shop.

During the 90's and to the present day. The development of the area saw many old abandoned buildings cleared and contents put up for sale. This is how I came to own a small collection of twenty or so ring ‘faces' that must had been taken out of the gold mounts and left to sit in a bag for decades before been unearthed during the recent renovation of the area
I have carefully re-imaginged this motif using silver to create in a sort of ‘picture frame' to honour the original design.

IMPORTANT – CONDITION REPORT: While surface dirt has been cleaned from the original motif and all elements checked and secure, please bear in mind this is a hundred year old element encased in the silver mount so as to celebrate rather than mask the marks of time, they are part of its rich story.
