Vintage Rare Find Seiko Carousel Mantel Clock As found in an estate, this is a wonderfully kept piece. This mantel clock made in Japan by Seiko is made of wood, plastics, metal and glass. The clock features a dark wood case that has rope molding details to either side of the glass covering. The front has an oval-shaped decorative brass tone metal plate at the bottom. The glass is decorated with gold painted borders and leaf motifs at the corners. The case houses a movement with a round, white dial, that has black Roman numerals and hands. Below the clockface two animated hand-painted carousel horses and gold-tone poles. A switch on the back allows the music box to be turned on and off, buy has volume control and night silence control.
