Art Deco buy Cigarette Carousel Dispenser

Date: ca. 1920-1930

A beautiful Art Deco Cigarette dispenser that is so decorative in itself that one doesn't need to be a smoker to appreciate it! When the knob is turned the three panels swing open and reveal holders for a total of 45 cigarettes.

The buy overall shape is trilobed, with the three individual lobes being a container for 15 cigarettes; these are held in white plastic cylinders. The top is made of pleated metal sunburst effect circles housed in a platformed brass coloured metal. This is topped with a large round turning knob. The three rounded panels are made of an early kind of hard plastic which has this pleated effect within, although the surface is smooth.

Condition:
Very good. Fully functioning. A few minor scuff marks and signs of age.
