This lot is for a complete set of 11 volumes of the popular "Great SF Stories." These are the yellow-spine DAW versions. Purchased from the estate of an elderly gentleman who collected sci-fi volumes. DAW Paperbacks, ranging from 1979 (Vol 1) to 1984 (Vol 11), ALL 11 VOLUMES ARE STATED FIRST PRINTINGS. Paperback. No dust jacket. NOT EX LIBS. VG to EXCELLENT. Volume 11 has a funky space in the upper page edges where it looks like some sort of round object was used as a bookmark (see pics of all page edges). Volume 3 has a very small tear at its upper spine (see picture). There are also very faint rubber-stamped numbers or symbols on the TOP page edges of Vols. 5 and 8. Otherwise, there are no markings, tears, or other flaws, just minor touching wear or edge chips. The previous owner also did not use turndowns to mark his place. The gentleman really knew how to care for buy his books! Tightly bound.
