Vintage 60s/70s Blue Welsh Wool Waist Coat Gilet.
The waist coat is made of the famous Welsh Wool which is a checked tweed wool made in Wales. The waist coat is closed by a lovely fancy decorated silvertone buckle, which is a great feature. The waist coat has 2 pockets, one at each hip. There is lovely buy dark blue braiding around the pockets, around the neckline and opening of the waist coat and as an accent on panels of the bodice. The waistcoat coordinates well with light blue as seen here with the blue poloneck. The waistcoat sits at approx hip level so would look great with flares or cigarette pants and a nice top under. The waistcoat is lined in a dark blue/purple acetate. The waistcoat is in excellent condition.
