Dramatic Vintage Iridescent-Gray Spanish Majorica Single Strand Pearl Necklace and Earring buy Set circa 1975

Single-strand iridescent-grey faux pearl necklace and matching iridescent single faux pearl post pierced earrings, for day or evening wear. Created by the Spanish company Majorica that manufactures imitation pearls called Majorica pearls. All hardware on the clasp is .925 silver vermeil (electroplated with gold.) Earring posts are marked 14K. Earring backs are marked Sterling.

The maker company was Founded in 1890 in Barcelona, but is now based on the Spanish island of Mallorca, making some of the highest grade and well respected of imitation pearls. This set is from the 1970s.

The buy set comes with its original red leatherette box and guarantee paper provided by the maker.
