A wonderfully detailed Art Nouveau antique jewellery box. This footed casket style lidded trinket box is in excellent condition with a perfectly working original hinge. This piece is a beautiful example of the flowing lines of the Art Nouveau era. There is some very minor paint loss (see photos) on the tip of the flower and the bottom of the feet. The teeny tiny areas of exposed metal appear to be cast bronze or perhaps copper. The interior lining is missing. This is a fabulous Art Nouveau period piece made by the Weidlich Brothers Manufacturing Company.
