This is an authentic vintage Sting "The Dream of the Blue Turtles" debut vinyl album from A&M Records in 1985. I am the original owner of this item and it is in near mint never played condition. It is complete with the vinyl, cover, paper sleeve and lyrics booklet which are also in mint condition. It is the first solo album by English musician Sting, released in the United States in June of 1985. The album reached number three on the UK Albums Chart and number two on the US Billboard 200.
In the US the album spawned four singles, "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free", "Fortress Around Your Heart", "Russians" and "Love Is the Seventh Wave". The album earned Grammy nominations for Album of the Year, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Best Jazz Instrumental Performance and Best Engineered Recording. It is certified 3 times platinum in the US and has won critical acclaim worldwide. I have framed this beauty in black aluminum under Lexan.
