French Couleuvre Vase Centerpiece 2 Handles Hand Painted Porcelain Blue and Gilt signed Jean Tillaud
Beautiful 2-handled vase, from Couleuvre, France.
The vase is painted blue and gilt. On one side there is a lovely picture of a young woman and a man on a horse in a garden, in black on white, signed Jean Tillaud.
On the other side is a Floral pattern in black on white.
On the bottom is written: SILHOUETTES 1839 * Edition D'Art A Tirage Limite Sur Porcelaine de Couleuvre * and it has the typical Couleuvre Red Snake Stamp.
Circa: Probably early to mid-20th Century.
Very good condition for it's age. Some age-appropriate wear on the base, and loss of gilt color on the handles. No chips, cracks or crazing.
