Lon.Done....Done the East End? Brick Lane has for hundreds of years welcomed and prospered it's out of town residents. French Protestants, Russian Jews and Bengalis from Bangladesh have all lived in this area and offered their cultural treasures, from the Silk weavers chapel that became a Synagogue and is now a Mosque, to the 24 hour Bagel shop and of course the amazing choice of Curry Restaurants.
It's also the home to Brewing history, cool markets and fabulous Street Art.
I took this photo in the summer of 2014 to capture the beautiful face on the window, hardly noticing the dragon above, nor the shop keeper cooling down in his doorway.
We've visited this area many times and seen something different on every occasion, it's always best to capture what takes your eye, as next time there will likely be another masterpiece in it's place! buy
