This listing is for two rare and old pieces of Philadelphia Phillies memorabilia. Included: 1946 Official Score Card (good condition except for some tears -bite marks?- in top right corner Framed sheet of four unused 1964 World Series tickets (the 1964 Phillies have the distinction of having one of the worst collapses in sports history. The team led the National League since opening day, but a complete meltdown in the last two weeks of the regular season, losing the last ten of twelve games, cost them a shot at the title. There were no playoffs in 1964, so the Phillies's 92-70 record put them in a tie for second with the Reds. The St.Louis Cardinals had passed them and would go on to win the World Series. Since the Phillies were expected to win the National League, tickets were printed and obviously never used.) These four tickets are complete and intact and come framed for display.
