Rich blue cloth boards with decorative embossed front cover, and gilt decoration and lettering to spine. Full page colour and black and white illustrations by H.J Ford. Tissue guard to frontispiece. 14 historical stories from various countries. Preface. Measures approx 7.5 x 5 inches.

Condition: Boards very good with a little speckling to the rear, spine lovely with a little shelf wear to head and tail, binding firm, book slightly cocked. Pages very good- no foxing or other marks, slightly yellowed especially page edges.
