Buy 1940's Twin Winton Police Chief Cookie Jar

This cute guy is one of the harder to come by Twin Winton Cookie jars. He is a bear dressed as a police officer - officially, the Police Chief - and he is in excellent vintage condition. The color is the satin finish brown that is Twin Winton's most identified trademark, with hand painted details in yellow and buy black. The paint and glaze are both really, really good, with no major flaws at all. The jar has no cracks or repairs. There is crazing visible on the inside, and that is consistent with age. There is also one tiny chip in the inside rim of the jar opening. It cannot be seen when the piece is displayed, and is a very minor flaw in terms of collecting.

This cookie jar is about 11" tall and 9" wide.
