Here's a great folk art mosquito fish decoy, commonly used for pike and sturgeon spearing buy in the midwest or as a highly collectible art that makes great decor. This decoy took third in the 2022 folk art class at the NFDA show in Perham, MN. This fish decoy is about 8.25 inches long with a 7.5 inch wing span. It's carved from cedar, highly detailed, with aluminum fins, and painted by hand and airbrush. Each decoy is signed, dated and numbered. The decoy is carefully weighted to swim a nice smooth circle.
Every decoy also comes with a custom made plaid cloth bag.
