When I took this photo, I was just about four months clean of alcohol. I never really intended to give it up (although I had been slowing down for some time), but the longer I went with-out it, the more I realized just how much it had clouded my vision. That's still not to say I won't indulge in a beer from time to time, but no bottle or can could ever provide, what this magical moment provided naturally and spiritually for me.
