buy This antique white ironstone covered vegetable dish or casserole was made by the Thomas Elsmore and Son Pottery of England who operated a pottery from 1872-1887. It measures 10.25 inches in length when measured from the end of each handle. It is 6.25 inches across. It might be considered a mid to smaller casserole size, quite suitable for serving 4-6 people. It has a shiny white glaze and is free of any chips or cracks. There is one firing flaw on the underside of the lid that is not seen when the lid is in place. This is a lovely covered vegetable dish that is practical and attractive.
