Vintage glazed Weller pottery planter in the Flemish pattern, circa 1910s to 1920s, measuring 6 x 4 inches. The charming Flemish pattern was made to look like a wicker basket with twisted handles and roses adorning it on both sides.
It's in good condition, with the primary signs of age being some water rings on the inside of the pot. There's a mark on the bottom that looks like “6X”, which was probably an identifier of the person who painted it. I can't see the Weller mark on the base, but this piece is completely consistent with the smaller “tub/basket” Flemish pattern. It's sturdy and substantial and the glaze colors are beautiful. It's a wonderful piece of arts and crafts style pottery.
It could be used as a planter and could also be used to hold seasonal decor, or just sit around and look cool all on its own. buy
