18" Wrought Iron Lithops Tenon Towel Bar.A long time coming, my Tenon Bath Accessories are an expansion of my popular Lithops Tenon line of drawer and cabinet pulls. Wrought from solid steel, their traditional joinery imparts strength and character, giving your bath or powder room unique handcrafted luxury. The full line includes- cabinet/drawer pulls and knobs, 18 and 24 inch towel bars, toilet paper holders, robe hooks, and hand towel bars and hooks.I make my Tenon Bath Hardware by forging down a cross bar from 1” round stock, and then upsetting it on its ends for a soft organic feel. Holes are drilled and the ½” tenon posts are riveted over in a form very similar to the top of one of my Lithop knobs. The 2 ½" posts are buy then welded onto a hammered 2” square back plate with four holes for surface mounting. After forging, drilling and welding, I wire brush them just enough to remove any loose fire scale. Next I apply 3 coats of clear enamel to ensure long life and durability.All my bath accessories come with the appropriate number of matching finish pyramid head screws and plastic drywall anchors. Special anchors can be supplied upon request to meet your mounting needs.I'm often asked if my finish is more silver, or more black… The answer is both. Depending on the viewing angle, and the light, both colors come through (and a few more to boot). I've attempted, in my photos, to show them in different lighting conditions, so you get an idea of the dynamic color variations. >>MEASUREMENTS: roughly 19 ⅞" long, 3 ⅜" tall, and 1 ¼" wide. The posts are 18” on center.
