Victorian Antique Vintage Gold Gilt GF & Diamond Paste Bird buy Swallow Pearl locket pendant necklace Art Deco Mourning

For your consideration is a beautiful antique or vintage oval gold gilt locket from the earlier part of the 20th century. The locket features a beautiful bird, maybe a swallow, with three paste rhinestones in the buy eye and body, holding a very lustrous pearl. The locket closes easily and stays closed. The original retainer rings are present to hold photos in place, but the glass is long gone. The locket is about 1.1" in diameter by 1.5" tall, not including the bail. It would make a lovely addition to your necklace or pocket watch fob chain! Please note that I do not clean my pieces in order to keep their vintage integrity.
