Vintage Murano Glass Swan Pink Filigree Seguso buy Filigrana Bird Figurine

buy This is a lovely piece of Murano glass that is made in the form of a crested bird - generically these bird figurines are called swans. The bird is made of clear glass with pink filigrana / filigree through its body. Although most of the important Murano glassmakers made objects with filigrana, Archimede Seguso in particular experimented extensively with this particular technique. The piece is unmarked, so I cannot attribute it specifically to any maker. The piece measures 9 1/4” in height and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear. This is a lovely piece of art glass - pretty display piece!
