Abraham Lincoln-The War Years, Carl Sandburg's four volume set, was published buy in 1939, and these are in great shape! Lots of photos, very collectible, published by Harcourt, Brace and Company Inc., and the set won the 1940 Pulitzer Prize for History! They measure 9.5" by 6.5" and have about 700 pages each. These volumes contain 426 half-tones of photographs, and 244 cuts of cartoons,letters, and documents. They were part of a private collection, and they each have a nameplate on the inside front cover.
