The flap comes down 10” in front and has a slip pocket on the back giving you two slip pockets in total.
Primitive style without a buckle makes getting in and out of this haversack a breeze, and with a slip pocket built into it there is more room to store things than the version 1.
The back features an attached 1.5” Cotton webbing strap with a max length of 66” but can be adjusted smaller with the metal triglide. No buckles to break or get in the way.
There is also a good sized 1.5” Cotton webbing grab handle for easily moving around.
15oz Canvas Duck cloth - This pack is built tough and rugged and this material is wax dyed which adds to its abrasion resistance, helps fight off mildew, and helps shed water. It is not a traditional waxed canvas and does not offer as much protection against water but the coating does help shed water from the surface without having that traditional greasy feel.
