This series of bike sculptures is made from a curated collection old tools acquired from the personal workshops of the late generation of men and women that helped to build America. The bike sculptures symbolize the backbone of what America is built on, hard work, sweat, ingenuity, purpose and fun. At Rexcycle we continue the tradition of honoring buy those that walked before us in our own personal way. Each sculpture is hand signed, numbered, and dated by the artist himself.

Each piece is hand crafted from found objects in Santa Barbara, CA by master bike builder Rex Stephens.

When Rex is not making art he's hand-crafting his personal line of BMX style cruiser bikes. He founded Santa Barbara Cruisers in 2008.
