These are so cool - I wish they were my size! They are still in wonderful condition. The leather is strong and supple. The heels are great, with a bit of obvious wear, but still have what look like their original heel tips. The leather soles will, eventually, need replacing - especially if you wear them out in the rain. But, like I always say, take care of the uppers and have a cobbler take care of the rest, and your shoes will last! Someone clearly took great care of these - they are over 100 years old! The metal lattice shoe embellishments look to be sewn directly onto the shoes. They are loose, I'm sure the attaching thread is tired. These can be removed and laces worn - there's just one eyelet on either side of the tongue. That is entirely up to you, but the embellishments will go with.

These are a lovely example of the wonderful workmanship of the Edwardian Era.
